Dino Cushion

After my first attempt at intarsia knitting I vowed I would never try it again. But one of the plus sides of my job is seeing new knitting books when they come out.

One such book is Knitting Block by Block by Nicky Epstein. This book has a fab variety of block to knot for various projects. One such block was a great T-Rex fossil design that i just had to knit for my lucky boyfriend (he is into his dinosaurs).

I changed the pattern in the respect that I used I different weight yarn (Aran rather than dk) and went for a cushion rather than a scarf.

I knitted the block and then followed through with a garter stitch square for the back of the cushion.

I was actually really please with end result this time and I have a happy boyfriend who is pleased with his new dino addition.
